2013: Gospel Lessons from Hebrews

Our Conference this year is a focused study on the Epistle to the Hebrews. Eight speakers will preach the Gospel of the Glory of Christ from this portion of God’s Word, making practical applications to the everyday lives of Christians, young and old alike.

The book of Hebrews was written to encourage real people facing real discouragement and the very real temptation to settle for something less than the total commitment of all to Christ. The war between the Christ and Satan, between light and darkness, between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent is as real now as it was then. The only hope for personal and cultural victory and salvation is found in the great Captain of God’s people, the Lord Jesus Christ. What is desperately needed in our hearts, our homes, our churches and our evangelism of this fallen world is a fresh and Biblical vision of the glory of our conquering Savior. It is the glory of Christ that captures, holds, uplifts and emboldens those that follow Him. The glory of Christ transforms those that truly behold Him.

Please come join us as we look at the book of Hebrews, one of the most comprehensive revelations of Jesus Christ in all the Bible. In these chapters, the voice of God speaks of the glory of Christ to the hearts of discouraged and embattled Christians. The Son of God is the same yesterday, today and forever, leading His own from victory to victory. The Christ of Hebrews is the Christ reigning today! He is still the revelation of God, the Last Adam, the One greater than Moses, the Great High Priest and Sacrifice for sins, the One who was the delight of the OT saints, the One who leads us into the very throne room of God, the One who reigns as King and is at work in this fallen world saving His lost sheep and destroying all His enemies. He is powerful, full of mercy, and the Lord of ALL!

It is our prayer that God would come and use this portion of Scripture powerfully to rekindle our hearts with new love for our triune God. We pray you will be able to join us and that He will bless the fellowship and ministry of His Word to encourage, renew, and equip us to press on serving our glorious Christ in every area of life, until this earth once again joyfully submits to His reign.

THE GLORY OF CHRIST, HOPE FOR CHRISTIANS in the Face of a Hostile Culture:

Christ Jesus has great encouragement in the book of Hebrews for His Church, His Bride. The Spirit of God tells His people to not let go of Christ even in the midst of a culture that is in rebellion in both Church and State against the true and living God. The Lord Jesus Christ alone offers hope to a culture that is in confusion and turmoil in its vain attempt to overthrow Messiah and His reign.

It is our prayer that God would come and use this portion of Scripture powerfully to rekindle our hearts with new hope and love for our triune God. We pray you will be able to join us and that He will bless the fellowship and ministry of His Word to encourage, renew, and equip us to press on serving our glorious Christ in every area of life, until this earth once again joyfully submits to and enjoys His reign.
